Privacy Policy

Boostly ("we", "us") is a community-driven platform that lets members exchange voluntary, manual engagements with one another's social media content. This page explains what we collect, why, and the rights you have over your data under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and similar laws worldwide.

What we collect

  • Account data: email address, display name, avatar, language and country preference.
  • Social handles you choose to connect: public usernames for the networks you opt into. We never receive or store passwords for those networks.
  • Engagement activity: the in-app tasks you complete and the campaigns you run, used to award credits and prevent abuse.
  • Technical signals: timing and behavioral signals (e.g. task duration, focus events) used solely by our anti-fraud system.

How we use it

  • Operating the credit ledger and matching engine.
  • Detecting and blocking bot-like or fraudulent behavior.
  • Sending essential service emails (sign-in, password reset).
  • Improving the platform through aggregated, anonymous analytics — only with your cookie consent.

Storage and security

Data is stored on Supabase infrastructure with row-level security policies that scope every record to its owner. Credit balances and trust scores are protected by database triggers so they cannot be modified directly from the client. Traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS).

Your rights

  • Access & export: request a copy of the data tied to your account.
  • Correction: update your profile fields at any time from Settings.
  • Erasure ("right to be forgotten"): delete your account from Settings — your profile and connected handles are removed and your engagement history is anonymized.
  • Withdraw consent: clear the cookie preference at any time from the cookie banner trigger.

Third parties

We do not sell personal data. The social networks you link to (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, Telegram) operate under their own privacy policies. Boostly is not affiliated with, authorized by, or endorsed by any of those companies.
